Overview

To facilitate the conversation for how emergency managers and planners can collaborate as well as to increase awareness of how local climate data can be utilized in planning and hazard mitigation efforts in Arkansas. Discussion topics include: motivation for discussing natural hazards resilience; relevance of climate data for planning; local examples of using climate data; why it’s important for planners and emergency managers to work together during storm events; and why it’s important for planners and emergency managers to work together more frequently.
