This panel will highlight tools, resources, and MPO related efforts from the FHWA, including cost effective countermeasures for increasing pedestrian safety, the development of alternative fuel corridors, approaches to integrating climate resilience into the MPO planning process, and the use of the second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP2) Reliability tools to advance transportation systems management and operations (TSMO).
