Already the fourth busiest container port in the United States, Savannah is also the fastest growing.  From the recent equipment and infrastructure improvements, to the ongoing Savannah Harbor Expansion Project and the current multi-state joint venture to effectively double capacity through development of the Jasper Ocean Terminal, participants will learn how the Port of Savannah stays ahead of the curve and ahead of the competition.  Following a brief presentation, participants will board a bus for a tour of the Georgia Ports Authority’s Garden City Terminal, the largest single container terminal in North America.
