A catalyst development--Twin Rivers Winery, 627 Commercial Street

Topic/Learning Outcome:  Twin Rivers Winery is one of only a handful of urban wineries in the state. The building they occupy is a good example of mixed internal usage (production, retail, and entertainment) that are consistent with many “maker” based businesses.  External planning on the adjacent 7th Avenue have adapted to outdoor use space for the local Farmers Market and smaller events.  The Winery has served as an anchor placement and acted as a catalyst for more businesses in the area.
