What’s the point of master planning? A) to prepare reports that sit on shelves; B) to list known projects and constraints; or C) to provide a roadmap for project execution? Unfortunately, many non-planners think it’s A or B. Planners need them to know the answer is C. Plans are not just pretty pictures that will never get built. But what does it take to turn these “fairy dust” projects into reality? A Customer Concept Document (CCD) can be that bridge. In this session, panelists will discuss how CCDs tied to a Master Plan can lead to more accurate 1391s and therefore more executable projects.
