Join us in Warrick County to see how bike and pedestrian trails are being developed and used in innovative ways. We will first see the Warrick Wellness Trail, a new regional healthcare destination including hospitals, medical clinics, a hotel, and single and multi-family housing with a connecting bike and pedestrian trail network. We will explore projects that the non-profit organization, Warrick Trails, has implemented through their fundraising efforts and strong partnerships with local government agencies on the way to Friedman Park, a $5.5 million park funded by Regional Cities and Warrick County located adjacent to Victoria National Golf Club. Our final stop will be in the quaint town of Newburgh. Located on the banks of the Ohio River and rich with history, Newburgh has been busy constructing the Rivertown Trail, providing residents with a picturesque view of the Ohio River that connects the town to the historic and current Ohio River locks and dam.
