Overview

Communities that welcome, foster trust, and proactively

integrate everyone into the fabric of everyday life are at a

distinct advantage over those that do not. We know that

conversations about bringing everyone together are not always

the easiest to have. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation can provide

guidance in this area and help you figure out how to begin

having those tough conversations in your community. Kellogg’s

Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) is a

comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan

for and bring about transformational and sustainable change,

and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.

You’ll also hear from the city of Grand Rapids about their Racial

Equity Plan, how it is used, and how it was developed.
