Overview

In this session, planners will learn about and discuss statistics, current trends, and examples regarding the impact of cybersecurity/ransomware.  We will explore some basic cybersecurity best practices for local governments to consider and pair these recommendations with services that can assist with implementing those best practices. There are many assets and resources out there available to local governments and sometimes the biggest battle is knowing where to look for them and where to start!
