  • Examine the difference between biodiversity planning and biophilic city planning and design and how both support each other.


Get an overview of the San Francisco environment biodiversity program while visiting key examples of biodiversity and biophilic planning, natural area restoration, including cycling- and water-sensitive urban design initiatives. The tour includes a hike through the urban hills to visit some areas not accessible by car, including some volunteer-supported native plant seed nurseries.
