Overview

This discussion will offer insight on how planners can be engaged in supporting their community to manage risk and build resilience.  By the end of the end of the session attendees will be able to:  Identify the role of the community planner in making communities more resilient; Understand potential connections between mitigation and the goals of other local plans; and Explain the value of mitigation in improving community resilience.
