Overview

 

Following devastating flooding on Wildcat Creek in Riley County in 2007, 2010, 2011 and most recently, September 3, 2018, the City and County are working with impacted residents, business owners and ag producers to develop a more flood resilient watershed.  Chad Bunger will the planning process being undertaken, including creating a social vulnerability index, innovative flood modeling and public engagement to better understand not only where and what floods, but also who floods and create meaningful solutions to better protect those impacted by Wildcat Creek flooding.
