Two complimentary individual presentations comprised the keynote address. The first, by Eulois Cleckley (City and County of Denver Public Works Director) addressed the City/County’s philosophy and proposed reorganization to include a Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, as well as priorities and programs of the City/County with near-term implementation focus. The second, by Johnny Olson (Colorado Department of Transportation Deputy Director) addressed the State’s emerging philosophy under new leadership and touched on the direction of ongoing reorganization of the DOT. Like the City/County of Denver presentation, the CDOT presentation addressed priorities and programs of the CDOT but included both long-term and near-term implementation perspectives.
