This course covers the range of elements needed to boost access to transit, with a focus on door-to-door transportation from a destination to a transit station.
Lisa Nisenson has 20 years of experience and leadership in smart growth, sustainable development and civic engagement. She leads Alta Planning + Design’s New Mobility group, created to help cities integrate technology into healthy, active and connected community design. She founded an award-winning tech startup, GreaterPlaces, as a new platform devoted to city design and governance, with a forthcoming mobile app. She is on the American Planning Association and state of Virginia Smart City Task Forces and part of Virginia's Center for Innvoation Tehnology's Smart City accelerator program. She graduated from Meredith College (NC) and Harvard University (MA).
