Overview

APA Arizona’s unique “Interlude in Flagstaff,” will include a strong program of professional development and events for planners that will enable you to earn AICP CM credit, including law and ethics. The goal of this event is to make the sessions more about an engaging conversation than the usual format of presenters taking turns speaking to an audience. The program will focus on an open dialogue format.

The diverse sessions include field trips to view the first of its kind watershed protection program, a night tour of Flagstaff to learn about the city's Dark Sky regulations, the wonderful trail/bike systems in Flagstaff, as well as conference room presentations and discussions.  Sessions will cover Sustainability and Resiliency, Dealing with Challenging Planning Issues of Today, Challenges and Opportunities in Heritage Preservation and Let's Make a Deal.
