The Collider and CASE Consultants International are partnering with the American Planning Association to present a continuing education symposium featuring presentations from top experts in the fields of climate science, planning, and green infrastructure finance. "Resilient Plances-Planning for Our Future" is scheduled to allow planning professionals to earn up to eight CM credits while enjoying a day and a half of networking with industry peers and subject matter experts in Asheville, NC.
Symposium Learning Objectives
Resilient Places-Planning for Our Future: Participants will:
1. Learn about our future climate and what types of weather events planners should be preparing for now.
2. Be exposed to conceptual and practical paproaches to achieving climate adaptation and resilieincy that are transferable to their own communities.
3. Understand the resources that are available and can be utilized to facilitate climate adaptation and resiliency planning.
