We are excited to be celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the North Carolina Planning Conference sponsored by Holland Consulting Planners. It’s hard to believe that over sixty years ago, 125 planning professionals got together for the first conference in Chapel Hill. Six decades later we are back on the east side of the state and looking forward to having the conference September 26-29 at the newly renovated Greenville Convention Center. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the revitalization of Greenville and the surrounding communities with the sessions, tours, and activities that have been planned.  This year’s conference is focused on the theme: Rural, Urban, Points in Between.  The Conference will feature concurrent sessions, lightning rounds, networking opportunities, vendor displays, and mobile tours!  

The Conference will kick-off with an Exhibitor and Sponsor Meet & Greet Reception on Tuesday Night, followed by a Welcome Reception on Wednesday night at The Martinsborough, located in historic uptown Greenville’s beautifully restored Jefferson Blount-Harvey Building.  The Conference will wrap-up Friday morning with an interactive ethics session and a final networking opportunity at our closing lunch tailgate!  So please join us for what promises to be a dynamic, informative and fun conference.

Conference hotels:

Greenville Hilton  - group rate starts at $139 plus taxes.

Holiday Inn - group rate starts at $129 plus taxes.

Special room rate is for the nights of Monday, September 25th through Thursday, September 29th (conference ends mid-day Friday).

Reservation deadline at both hotels is Sunday, August 27, 2017 or until the room block is sold out. Based on prior conferences we know the room block sells out fast, so don’t wait to book your room!

Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations must be received by e-mail by September 13, 2017 to qualify for a refund. There is a $25 processing fee for each change and a $30 processing fee for cancellations.
