Overview

The 2017 Kansas Planning Conference theme is "Kansas Crossroads: Intersecting Past & Future" and we have something for everyone.  A diversity of sessions cover topics, such as, making old plans new again, technology and public engagement, updating sign regulations, transit oriented development, food system planning, drones, automated vehicle planning, county/city cooperation, neighborhood stabilization and revitalization, and economic development. We have one Planning Slam! with rapid fire "tips" and two Deep Dives will go into topics in-depth and include activities during the sessions.  Those interested in AICP CM credits can expect to get 11.5 CM Credits and both Law and Ethics credits. Planning Commissioners training is on Friday and includes a good introduction to being a planning commissioner in the morning along with more advanced planning commissioner training in the afternoon.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES:

All registration cancellations and changes must be received by e-mail to registrationchanges@planning.org by October 13, 2017 to be eligible for a refund. There is a $50 processing fee for any cancellation and a $25 change order processing fee.
