Overview

Perserving Historic Places allows planners to use Columbus, Indiana as a learning laboratory through education sessions, plenary talks, and tours. Nationally-recognized speakers also provide best practices from around the United States. The planning-related educational objective of the conference is to demonstrate the variety of ways historic preservation may be used as a tool for the revitalization of communities of all sizes. The sessions targeted for planners are designed for an intermediate level of knowledge. Please refer to the individual session descriptions for specific details.
