Overview

Mr. Michael Manore, PE, will facilitate this brainstorming discussion to share his experiences and yours and generate new ideas on how visualization techniques can be used to improve the transportation planning process and help make better decisions. If the discussion group decides it is appropriate, we can use a controversial bridge project in Wisconsin as the backdrop to brainstorm how different kinds of visualization could enhance the transportation planning process. Through this interactive session, attendees will gain a better understanding of the challenges that good visualizations can help overcome, share personal insights and explore potential responses by the transportation agencies to address those challenges. This webinar would be useful to increase an understanding of technology as it relates to the planning process.
