This session is an overview of the Efficient Transportation Decision Making (ETDM) Process and includes, but is not limited to the following topics: an understanding of the ETDM Manual; the administrative process for documentation; how the Planning and Programming Screening events are accomplished; discussion on the Environmental Screening Tool, informing the Project Development and Environment Process and future transportation decisions; and development and use of summary reports. At the conclusion of this course, the participant will possess a basic understanding of the ETDM process and the development and review process for transportation projects. This seminar would be useful for planners that work on transportation and environmental issues.
