This session will present state, transit, and metropolitan planning organization perspectives on the potential changes in federal transportation legislation. The SAFETEA-LU legislation expired in 2009 and has been extended eight times. Significant changes in programs and funding are being discussed in the United States Congress. Participants will learn the latest developments and status of federal transportation legislation impacting Florida.
