Participate in a comprehensive review of the assessments that take place prior to the acquisition or development of commercial property. Learn how to conduct analysis on various real estate development projects to identify the magnitude of the risk, and based on that assessment, make the decision to move forward or not with the development project. Topics include: - Analyzing market data - Assessing and valuing site - Preparing and evaluating “back of the envelope” budgets - Assessing community and political environment - Reviewing regulatory, title, and other issues. A case study will be used to assess the potential economic viability of a real estate development project.
