Overview

This workshop will explore those considerations that govern the decision process from an economic, aesthetic and environmental prospective. This session will discuss how to balance the needs of the local environment with new development and growth in the design process. Participants will learn how design can play a vital role in creating livable communities and some of the principles and tools used to forge these desirable places. Participants will also gain knowledge on the different challenges and opportunities with the implementation of sustainable design.
