The June 5, 2012 Northeast Florida Transportation Planning Applications Forum meeting will inform the members about items of interest to the field of planning stemming from the 2012 legislative session as well as what we might expect from the 2013 session. The second topic will discuss what is involved in the development of the District Two FDOT Work Program and what type of projects we are likely to expect in the coming years. The third topic focuses on the development of K-factors (ratio of the traffic volume in the study hour to the Annual Average Daily Traffic). The FDOT recently deiced to standardize the K-factor statewide. This presentation will discuss the reasoning behind standardization and the process that was used to develop the factors. The fourth topic discusses the development of the Taylor County model in FDOT District 2. This model was created by extracting Taylor County from the Statewide model. The discussing will focus on how the model was developed, its intended us and the functioning of the model.
