Overview

This presentation focuses on the current Florida Spaceport System Plan and the Cape Canaveral Spaceport Complex Master Plan, with a focus on transportation infrastructure planning. The Florida Spaceport System Plan is the first 'state' spaceport system plan to be developed, while the Cape Canaveral Spaceport Complex Master Plan was derived from the System Plan and Space Florida Spaceport Master Plan 2010. Both of the Plans can be referenced at www.spaceflorida.gov/why-florida by clicking on the Spaceport Planning button on the left hand column. In addition to learning about the two spaceport plans, participants will become more knowledgeable about the differences of spaceport system planning and individual spaceport master planning. Multi-modal hub planning will also be addressed. Mark Bontrager, Vice President of Spaceport Operations, will be presenting.
