There are several national trends affecting our urban markets and towns. One of those trends is changing American demographics and the increasing desire to live in urban markets and first generation suburbs and towns. As older and younger generations become more favorable to urban markets and an increase by greater immigration into America; cities and towns must learn how to accommodate and capitalize on these growing trends. How do you create an environment that welcomes and appeal to the housing amenities and activities that respond to their needs while creating an economically, culturally and ethnically diverse community that celebrate this diversity, without displacing poorer residents of the community?
