Overview

Educational program for planners interested in strategies to address current issues and solutions when analyzing the feasibility of a winery or vineyard property. This half day program will cover how local, state and federal laws could restrict or enhance intended uses. For example, the class will provide an overview on how the California Environmental Quality Act, the Napa County General Plan, and the Napa County Winery Definition Ordinance govern the permitting process. Insight into California water law, the Endangered Species Acts, and how cultural resources could impact plans.
