The Florida Department of Transportation Transit Office and Traffic Operation Office are collaborating to host a series of one-day Transit Signal Priority and Queue Jump Practitioners Forum in West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville. The objective of the Forum is to provide:  An in-depth understanding of transit signal priority (TSP) and queue jumps through technical presentations and case studies that cover topics ranging from TSP terminologies, planning and design, to operations and maintenance  An opportunity for traffic engineers, planners, transit agencies, local governments, and consultants who are involved in the different phases of TSP to share and discuss their experiences in deploying the technology and collaborate in identifying strategies that would improve the facilitation of TSP and queue jump projects  Discussion of action items, procedures, guidance and future research to assist in the planning and implementation of TSP and queue jump and develop standards for application across the state The TSP forum is free and open to professionals who are involved in different phases of TSP and queue jump projects, from planning and design to operations and maintenance.
