In February 2015, the City of Tucson Mayor and council approved the Infill Incentive District (IID) section of their development code.  The goal of the IID is to encourage sustainable infill development that supports the creation of urban neighborhoods that are pedestrian and transit-oriented.  This is done through addressing barriers to infill development and implementing development incentives.  Carolyn Laurie, Principal Planner with the City of Tucson Planning and Development Services Department will present the process for developing and approving the IID.
