The West Palm Beach (WPB) CRA Tour will look into the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency's current planning and development efforts. Starting in Northwood Village, WPB's funky bohemian "village" comprised of one-of-a-kind shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes, the tour will begin with an hour presentation about ongoing planning and redevelopment efforts, prior to a guided trolley tour with the CRA Director discussing the activities ongoing at each location. The tour will end up in the Historic Northwest st the Sunset Lounge, a historic 1922 structure that has entertained some of the country's greatest jazz musicians.  The site will soon become part of a multi-million dollar redevelopment project within the CRA. The West Palm Beach CRA has been nationally recognized as one of the most innovative and effective Community Redevelopment Agencies (CRAs) in the country, including the development of public/private partnerships like CityPlace and innovative partnering with the WPB Downtown Development Authority (DDA) that led to Clematis Street being named as one of America's top streets.
