Overview

The Broward Section of FAPA will host a Lunch and Learn workshop to hear the most update information from State Representatives, leading scientists, and Broward County officials on the environmental and planning issues related to fracking in Florida. Guests will include Dr Christopher McVoy, Ecohydrologist and Everglades expert and Florida State Representative Evan Jenne. What would Fracking mean for Broward County? Would it impact our unique water resources? What are the economic benefits? Will legislation regarding Fracking be passed in the next legislative session?
