The Arizona Department of Transportation has identified a series of strategic corridors throughout the State of Arizona who’s performance is essential in helping to define the overall health of the statewide transportation system.  A series of Corridor Profile Studies are underway to help measure the current performance of these strategic corridors in order to define a comprehensive corridor plan and programming approach designed to help make system-appropriate decisions.  This presentation will present the process and methodology developed for the corridor performance system; the performance-based needs assessment process; process to identify strategic solutions; and the process to evaluate and prioritize those solutions for programming purposes.
