Susan Coughanour, AICP, on the Board of the Treasure Coast Section of APA-FL, will moderate this annual session, which will allow members to hear first-hand the perspectives of our region’s Legislative representatives about the roles that planning and growth management issues will have in the upcoming Legislative Session. The legislators will respond to APA Florida Treasure Coast and other professional associations' prepared and audience questions on the upcoming session's addressing of the 2017 Budget, the Florida land acquisition program, Florida's water law and growth management, transportation, professional local government contracts, property rights and the state's economy. Members can enjoy a continental breakfast and help provide for an insightful "give and take" dialogue between planners in the field and our legislative representatives. The program has 18 Host Organizations, including the APA Florida Treasure Coast Section, allowing the program to be offered free for up to 300 registrants.
