FOR AECOM EMPLOYEES ONLY - This lve webinar will provide an introduction to Vision Zero. Vision Zero is the concept of creating policies and designs for streets that strive to eliminate all traffic deaths while creating safe and equitable mobility options for all users. The presentation will provide a brief history of Vision Zero and an overview of key principles, including policy, engagement, and street and intersection design best practices. The presentation will also include case studies from two cities that have adopted Vision Zero plans, New York and Boston, and will cover what the City of Philadelphia has done to incorporate Vision Zero into its street designs thus far.
