Overview

It’s not very often a new local government organization is decreed by the state governor, but after each decennial census a new Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is required by the federal government if a certain population threshold is met.  Urbanized! A New Metropolitan Planning Organization in Arizona is a discussion about the requirement and implications of establishing an MPO.
