Overview

The Innovative Cities Lecture Series is arranged by the School of Urban Planning at UW-Milwaukee. The series features local and regional actors who are involved in innovative approaches to issue related to urban planning, including urban design, community collaboration, comprehensive planning, and environmental remediation. This session focuses on the Lakefront Greenway Project and higlights the many design considerations that went into designing the public space. The lecture covers connectivity between the lakefront and downtown, programing elments for the 24/7 use in four season climates, and navagating the varous needs of the entities involved.
