Workshop: Encore Entrepreneur Initiative in the Built Environment

Join us for a special workshop about the built environment encouraging encore entrepreneurism as the 55+ population is continuing to work longer and re-shape what retirement means.

The consumer research polled over 1,000 Florida residents, ages 55+ on their intentions for retirement and the spaces and places they may choose to work. The workshops will be a forum to share the results of the research and gather input from key stakeholders on potential solutions in the built
environment.

Goals of the Workshop Include:

  • Identifying challenges and opportunities for the 55+ population to pursue encore careers
  • Explore the built environment and how it might further enhance entrepreneurial activity in this population segment
  • Size the market demand and opportunity
  • Create a white paper for distribution, which includes a summary of the consumer research and workshop results

Expert Panel Members Include:

Mary Andrews, Lee Health

Kristine Smale, John Burns Real Estate Consulting

Marshall Goodman, The Naples Accelerator

David Hamblett, SWFL SCORE, Chapter 219
