The Tampa Bay Transportation Applications Group meeting is FREE and will be held for three (2) hours at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 7 in Tampa, FL.  This two-hour meeting includes presentations by the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR), CitiLabs, Stantec and Cambridge Systematics regarding the collection of cellular data and GPS data and use of big data for transportation projects.  Programs such as Cube, StreetLytics, Sugar and other data uses will be discussed.  Presentation will include discussion from a Transportation Research Agency, Private Company collecting and using data for transportation planning agencies, applications of big data for freight planning by a local TPO, and use of big data for statewide freight modeling.
