This lecture addressed the inversion in living patterns that our cities have seen over the past few decades - from rich in the outer and poor in the center to rich in the center and poor in the outer. The speaker presented a vision of urban revival that was not about government coercion, but about choice. Questions that arose from the lecture focused on whether this inversion in living patterns was helping to alleviate inequalities, was simply reshuffling it, or was worsening it.
