Overview

 

Connecticut State Archaeologist, Brian Jones, PhD provides indepth education on statutes and regulations for archaeology and best practices for incorporating archaeology into land use regulations, such as zoning and subdivision codes.  He also guides attendees on an exploration of Connecticut historic preservation, archaeology, resources, recommendations for land use regulations. This program also includes a tour of the potential areas of archaeological significance near Lebanon Green.
