The Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) has embarked on a major effort to advance the development and implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems in the Coachella Valley with an emphasis on the signal synchronization of new and existing signals on regional arterial roadways. Synchronization is just the beginning, as CVAG will deploy a regional communication network that will provide a platform for Connected and Autonomous Vehicle and Smart City Initiatives into the future.
