Film and Panel Discussion of ‘The Future of Energy – Lateral Power to the People' on Wednesday evening, August 30, 2017 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at the SELF Auditorium at 2400 Rhode Island Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.  The program is hosted by the Treasure Coast Section of the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Solar Energy and Loan Fund (SELF).

This documentary film highlights the variety of activities that are going on throughout many communities in the United States to transition to renewable energy and what everyday people and others are doing to help foster and implement those efforts.  The panel discussion after the film will feature several local experts in this area who will discuss both the activities presented in the film and some of the efforts currently underway in the Treasure Coast Region to encourage and address renewable energy efforts.

 Please join us at 5:30 pm for a ‘Meet and Greet’ with appetizers and drinks followed by the Film Showing at 6:30 pm and the Panel Discussion at 7:30 pm.  We will wrap up the program by 8:30 pm.
