As the San Diego region grows, matures and urbanizes, it will continue to confront associated challenges. Primary among those will be the ability to successfully integrate housing stock to meet projected demands. And in addressing that particular challenge, we can ask ourselves whether San Diego has really utilized design in its approach to growth (and housing in particular). Have we underutilized design? Is that part of what we now face? To what extent can design serve us going forward?

Join us as this hand-selected, uniquely-qualified panel discusses design in the modern history of San Diego, and the role it should play as we address density moving forward.
