This presentation will describe the planning and design of roundabout intersections.  It will cover the planning tips on how to approach public involvement, design criteria and evaluation for discovering if a roundabout is feasible in a specific roadway or environment.  It will also go into depth of specific planning level criteria that is typically used for alternative evaluation in considering the implantation of a roundabout.  The presentation will also cover key design principals/tips that go into a preliminary roundabout design.
