This session will cover various ways that Counties can promote economic development including developing a website, videos and providing data to highlight the County and communities within; supporting local municipal economic development initiatives through “best practices” and creation of market profiles, highlighting available property on a County website and organizing tours of properties, bringing resources to ordinance revisions, visioning and redevelopment projects; creating and maintaining ecosystems of existing and target industries and through collaborating with other organizations; supporting small business by connecting them with available resources; and conducting business outreach and attraction initiatives.
