This program will help you explore the health issues facing your community and learn about ways to build a healthier community. You’ll walk away with tools to analyze your community’s current health conditions, set goals for your residents’ healthy future and incorporate health-related strategies into your master plan.


This program will familiarize you with Oakland County initiatives focused on overall public health, including the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) and Energizing Connections for Healthier Oakland (ECHO). ECHO focuses on Healthy Eating, Active Living, Built Environment, Access to Care, and Data & Informatics.
