This weekend event will offer a menu of different tours and presentations for attendees to learn about innovative food access work in Northern Colorado. The day will include tours of Greyrock Community Housing, Montava development and Sproutin’ Up. These three different sites will offer a greater understanding of the possibilities of community gardening, implementing agrarian urbanism residential development and non-profit work that supports both healthy eating and building job skills and confidence.

Learning Objectives:

1. Different strategies to integrate residential land use near local food sources

2. What agrarian urbanism is and how developers can partner with farmers

3. Organizations in Northern Colorado that support access to healthy food

4. How planners and public health professionals can work alongside non-profits
