DivComm’s Professional Development team is hosting a night of engaging conversation with some of NYC’s leaders in equity. This event will include a panel where planning and planning related professionals can discuss the social and political cost of advancing equity in their workplace and practice, while sharing their lived experiences. The event provides a space to discuss the emotional, physical, and professional stresses people of color and other professionals from underrepresented groups face when advancing equity. It will also provide participants with the necessary tools needed to develop their political and social capital in their practice, empowering them to overcome and advance in their planning careers.
