Experience includes: Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission, Planning magazine, Camiros Ltd., American Farmland Trust, Chicago Department of Planning, Commission on Chicago Landmarks, and Landmarks Illinois. Instructor, preservation planning graduate courses: University of Illinois-Chicago and School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1999-present). Bachelors degree: Environmental Design (Texas A&M Univ); Masters degree: Preservation Planning (Univ of Illinois-Urbana). Member: AICP's College of Fellows (2014).

Confirmed SpeakerDevelopment Manager for the City of Naperville, Illinois. In 1997 Trevor graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Since that time, he has worked in both the private and public sector completing a variety of planning projects throughout the country. In addition to his work at the City of Naperville, Trevor is co-creator of planningprep.com, a website created in 2001 to help prepare planners for the AICP examination. Due to the site’s success, since 2005, Trevor has also been part of the team that instructs the certification training program for the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association (ILAPA), National Capital Area Chapter, as well as the National APA Conferences. Trevor is also the Illinois Chapter's Professional Development Officer (PDO) and a frequent Adjunct Professor at Trinity College in Palos Heights, Illinois.

Confirmed SpeakerAaron Ray, AICP, is a Senior Planner with the City of Hillsboro, Oregon’s Long-Range Planning division and serves as the Professional Development Officer for the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association. At Hillsboro, his portfolio includes managing the City’s Comprehensive Plan Update project, developing long-range land use and transportation policies both citywide and for specific area plans, and creating implementation strategies to continually ensure that the City’s vision, land use policies, and development regulations are aligned. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Community Development and a Master of City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
