Visit Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, a 1,255-acre park in Queens, N.Y. Site of World’s Fairs in 1939–40 and 1964–65, today the park is home to the New York Mets baseball team and U.S. Tennis Center, which hosts the annual U.S. Open tennis tournament. Tour the park and see some of the remaining World’s Fair structures, such as the Unisphere, the fair’s iconic centerpiece. Learn what the Strategic Framework Planinitiated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation in 2014holds for this enduring open space.
